What's the best tip for newborn safety

I often get asked about the top safety tips for newborns. One thing I always emphasize is the importance of safe sleep practices, like placing babies on their backs in a crib free of soft bedding. I’m curious to hear what other caregivers do to keep those little ones safe.

Totally agree on the safe sleep practices. We used a Snoo to help our baby stay on their back and it was a game changer. One thing I’d add is making sure that any swaddles are snug but not too tight to avoid hip dysplasia.

And one thing that really helped us was using a monitor with a breathing sensor. It gave us such peace of mind during those early weeks. Have you tried anything like that, @b_ramos22?

Safe sleep is so crucial! I remember using a simple sleep sack which kept our baby cozy and snug without any loose blankets. It felt a bit like a baby burrito — just make sure they don’t start rolling over too soon.
