I made a one-page, 5‑day planner that balances protein, produce, and whole grains while flagging the top 9 allergens with simple checkboxes. It includes an 8–6 schedule (AM snack, lunch, PM snack) and a cross-contact prep note for toddlers/preschoolers; I can share the PDF and an editable Allergy Action Card — would you want a version that auto-fills child details?
Love the one-page 5‑day — I’d add a tiny “brand/label” slot next to the “top 9 allergens” boxes to log exact products and cut cross-contact, plus a line for EpiPen expiry. If you do the auto-fill, can it pull the child’s dose and emergency contacts right into the Allergy Action Card — fARE’s plan is a solid base: https://www.foodallergy.org/resources/food-allergy-and-anaphylaxis-emergency-care-plan.
Quick idea: add a tiny prep-order strip (safe → may contain → contains) with utensil color keys, plus a spot to jot thaw-by dates for batch-cooked items — it cuts cross-contact and the 5 p.m. scramble. If the template “auto-fills child details,” could it also pull each kid’s safe brands and approved substitutions from a master sheet? An optional QR code field to the Allergy Action Card would help subs jump in fast.
Add a ‘new food’ note per ‘8–6’ slot; auto-fill with initials only?
