Surviving the Great Snack Wars

Today was a classic case of snack time gone wrong. I had two kids fighting over the last cookie while the third one was secretly devouring all the carrots I thought I’d hidden! It’s all about time management and conflict resolution, but sometimes I feel like a referee in a mini boxing match. Anyone else navigating their own snack wars?

Snack time can definitely feel like a battlefield! I’ve found that having a snack chart helps keep things organized — everyone knows what’s available and there’s less bickering over who gets what. By the way, did you ever figure out how to keep those sneaky carrot thieves at bay?

I’ve dealt with my fair share of snack time chaos — one thing that helps is designating specific times for each snack type, making it a fun countdown. Kids love a little structure and knowing when their favorite treat is coming — helps the waiting game.
