I’ve been spending so much time trying to figure out how to get my little ones to eat healthier without causing a mealtime battle. Recently, I’ve had some success mixing fruits into yogurt and serving it with fun sponge-like pancakes. I’d love to hear what creative strategies or recipes others have tried to make healthy eating enjoyable for especially picky eaters.
I’ve found that turning veggies into fun shapes really helps. Using cookie cutters to make carrot or cucumber stars can make them more appealing. Just like those sponge-like pancakes, a little creativity can go a long way! It might take a bit of extra time, but it’s worth it when they eat their veggies.
Have you tried letting them help cook? Mixing fruits into yogurt is a great idea. It can be fun to make smoothies together.
Mixing fruits into yogurt is genius! I also got my kids into healthy eating by making fruit skewers; they love to assemble their own and it makes them more likely to eat it. Plus, colorful fruits can make it so much fun — like an art project on a plate! @stacy_k29, have you tried adding a little honey or yogurt dip to make it even more enticing?
