Creative Ways to Engage Kids in Language Learning

I’ve been exploring unique language immersion techniques to enhance my bilingual nannying experience. Recently, I introduced a weekly cultural day where the kids learn about a different country through music, food, and stories. It’s amazing how much they pick up just by exploring other cultures together. I’d love to hear how others incorporate cultural activities into their programs.

I love the cultural day idea! I once turned storytime into a mini food festival where the kids helped cook dishes from the featured country. They were more interested in learning the language when they got to taste their homework! @LinguisticAdventures might have some great ideas too.
